Stop Guessing.
Start Designing.

The Problem

Most courses are built on instinct, not evidence.

You’ve built a course that sells. But completion rates are lower than you’d like. The testimonials aren’t coming. And you can’t shake the feeling that something structural is off.

The uncomfortable truth: the course creation industry teaches you to produce content and launch. It doesn’t teach you to design.

  • Low completion rates — students buy but don’t finish, and you’re not sure where they drop off or why.
  • Design by imitation — your course structure mirrors what other creators do, not what learning science supports.
  • Content without architecture — you’re producing constantly, but none of it connects into a coherent system.
  • Pricing on guesswork — your price reflects competitor benchmarks, not the measurable value your course delivers.
  • No design process — every new module is a blank page. There’s no repeatable framework behind your decisions.

The Programme

A structured methodology, not another template.

The Course Architect OS is an evidence-based education design programme built by an academic who spent 15 years inside the institutions that developed these methods — and made them work.

01

Live Curriculum Delivery

90-minute sessions with direct teaching, applied exercises, and real-time diagnosis of your course’s structural failures. Not pre-recorded. Not passive.

02

Applied Workshop Format

Every framework is applied to your specific course during the session. Breakout rooms, peer review, and structured accountability built into the programme rhythm.

03

Evidence-Based Frameworks

Grounded in cognitive load theory, self-determination theory, and instructional design research — the same principles behind accredited university programmes.

Six Weeks

What you’ll build, week by week.

Each session follows a deliberate three-part structure: opening diagnosis, core framework delivery, and applied workshop. You leave every session with something built — not just something understood.

Week 1

The Architecture Audit

See your course as a system, not a collection of content. You’ll complete a structured audit identifying your single biggest structural weakness.

Week 2

Who Are You Actually Designing For?

Map the learner experience and rewrite your outcomes so they’re measurable and honest — not aspirational and vague.

Week 3

Retention Architecture

Diagnose where and why learners disengage. Build structured interventions at the exact moments your course currently loses people.

Week 4

The Live Critique

Submit your Course Architecture Summary. Three are selected for live critique by Kevin — the session where the real transformation happens.

Week 5

Asset Inventory & Design System

Categorise every piece of content by type and leverage. Build a design system that makes your course visually intentional, not accidental.

Week 6

The Course Rebuild Brief

Present your one-page implementation document to the cohort. You leave with a genuine design blueprint — not a template — and a personal design process for any future course.

At the Start

A course that works well enough but something is off. Getting sales but not the testimonials you want. Creating content constantly but it doesn’t feel like it adds up. Making design decisions based on what other creators do, or what felt right. No design process — just a content production habit. A creator who teaches.

At the End

A documented architecture for your specific course — not a template, but a genuine design blueprint built from evidence and intention. You know exactly what to rebuild, what to cut, and why. A personal design process applicable to any future course. Outcomes first, structure second, content last. A course architect who creates.

Is this for you?

This programme is built for you if…

You have an existing course (or a substantially developed plan) that you’re ready to redesign with rigour.
You can articulate what’s wrong with your current course and want structured methodology, not motivational platitudes.
You’re prepared to commit 10–12 hours per week for six weeks — live sessions plus applied between-session work.
You want to think like an architect: outcomes first, structure second, content last.
You’re serious enough to apply and be accepted — not just enrol.

This is not the right fit if…

× You don’t have a course yet and are looking for help choosing a topic or niche.
× You want a marketing programme, launch strategy, or passive income playbook.
× You’re looking for group coaching or motivational accountability — this is structured curriculum delivery.
× You’re not prepared to have your course critiqued honestly by a peer group and a facilitator who reads everything you submit.

Your Facilitator

Kevin Fenemore

Kevin spent 15 years inside higher education institutions designing and validating undergraduate degree programmes across three universities. The Course Architect methodology isn’t adapted from academia — it is academic curriculum design, translated for independent course creators.

This is the same approach he used to design courses that were externally validated, passed institutional quality assurance, and produced measurable student outcomes — applied to the specific challenges of building courses outside the institution.

Common Questions

All sessions are recorded and available within 24 hours. However, the programme is designed for live participation. The small cohort means every participant matters to the group dynamic. If you anticipate missing more than one session, this may not be the right cohort for you.

Kevin reviews every application personally. Acceptance is based on having a course (or substantially developed plan) to work on, the self-awareness to engage with honest critique, and the ability to commit to the time investment. This isn’t gatekeeping — it protects the cohort experience for everyone.

Most programmes teach marketing strategy or content production. This is a curriculum design programme grounded in the same research and methodology used to build accredited university degrees. Every framework is evidence-based, not opinion-based.

Approximately 10–12 hours per week: 90-minute live sessions plus 4–6 hours of between-session assignments. The assignments are where the transformation happens — they’re designed for working professionals with full schedules.

A completed Course Rebuild Brief — a one-page implementation document built across six weeks. A personal design process applicable to any future course. A certificate of completion from Academic Method. And Kevin’s direct email for one follow-up question within 30 days.
