Founder
Built from fifteen years inside education.
Kevin Fenemore left school at fifteen with no qualifications.
By his mid-twenties he had taught himself how to learn and entered university as a mature student. He graduated into filmmaking, then moved into lecturing and academic leadership. Over the next fifteen years he designed degrees and hundreds of courses across further education, higher education, professional development, and industry in the UK and internationally.
His roles include Senior Lecturer, Principal Lecturer, Course Leader, Programme Leader, Academic Director, and Dean. The work ran alongside filmmaking, visual effects, graphics, web development, and marketing.
The Student App carries the lessons he had to learn for himself and the ones he spent fifteen years teaching.

Sunday, 9pm
What a Sunday night looks like inside the app.
It's 9pm. You've got an essay due Wednesday, a flatmate issue you don't know how to handle, and £47 in your account until loan day.
You open the app.
You pull up the essay-writing short course — twelve minutes, straight to the bit on structuring a first-class argument. You post a question in the subject forum about a source you can't get hold of. Someone answers within the hour.
You book a thirty-minute session with a second-year who's already passed the module, for £6. You diarise it for Tuesday morning.
You skim the Living With People course for ten minutes on the difficult conversation you've been avoiding.
You log a £15 meal plan for the week from the budgeting section and close the app.
You sleep.
Wednesday, the essay goes in.

Built in the UK, designed for UK university life first. The study and life skills work anywhere. The marketplace and community features launch UK-first and expand as we grow.
Is it free?
Core access is free during early access. Courses, marketplace, and premium features are priced per-course or on a low monthly plan after launch — always less than a single hour of private tutoring.
How is this different from YouTube?
YouTube is infinite. It's also unstructured, unverified, and uncurated. The Student App is a sequenced curriculum built by people who have designed degree programmes, combined with live peers who are in it with you.
Who teaches the courses?
Educators with degree-programme-design experience, plus vetted peer tutors for specific modules and subjects. Every contributor is reviewed.
When does it launch?
Early access is open now. Full launch announced to the waitlist first.
